Nursery

I just realized I hadn't posted pictures of the nursery. Since we didn't have time to work on it before Annabella arrived, we've slowly been putting it together now that we're all home.  It's not completely finished, but Annabella isn't sleeping in there yet. . .so maybe we still have some time?

Originally we were going to paint the walls pink and brown.  Brian and I went to pick out paint colors, became overwhelmed, and went back home.  So, we're sticking with the beige walls and just having light pink as an accent color.

The letters that are on the floor in front of her crib will be painted pink and hung on the wall over her crib.  Oh, and I'll buy a crib skirt soon too.  At least she has a crib, right?

We're in the process of finding something to hang over her changing table.  I think a mirror with an interesting white or silver frame would be fun.

Baby Girl definitely has plenty of clothes.  Brian's brother's friends gave us 4 hug boxes of girl clothes ages newborn to 3T.  We are SO thankful!  I've hung up newborn through 9 months and the rest of the clothes are in the plastic containers in her closet.

It's coming together, slowly but surely.  Updated pictures coming soon!

Whoa! We must have been channeling each other since we both posted nursery updates on the same day! :) It's looking great. I love the white furniture and pink and brown (and green) where my initial colors. But then I found my fabric and decided to go much bolder than I ever envisioned myself going! Can't wait to see more updates.
