A visit from Uncle Paul

My brother, Paul, came to visit this past Thursday through Saturday morning. Annabella loved spending some quality time with her Uncle Paul!  Paul had met Annabella on her birthday, but wasn't able to hold her since she was in  the NICU.  Annabella was excited to finally be able to snuggle in on Uncle Paul's chest.

When we told Paul we were expecting back in October 2010, he sent our baby a copy of Pat the Bunny.  Paul and I read that book many, many times as children.  In fact, our copy was almost worn out.  It was a gift from our paternal grandfather, and was (still is) very special to both of us.  So, Paul spent some time reading Pat the Bunny to Annabella.

Thanks for coming to visit Paul!  We're looking forward to seeing you again soon in September (and hopefully making it up north to visit you as well)!  Annabella has already requested more Uncle Paul time. We love you!
