Four Months of Fun

Dear Annabella,
You are 4 months old today!  While your daddy was rocking you to sleep for your morning nap, we sang 'Happy Birthday to you', and you just smiled your little heart out.  You're only 4 months old, but your Daddy and I think that you are so big and are growing up so fast.  We just love you SO much.  We never knew a love like this existed, and we cannot thank God enough for blessing us with you!

Things you've been up to this past month:

• You weighed  12 lbs 5 oz and are 22.25 inches long.
• You're still in size 2 diapers, but you're on the verge of moving up to size 3.  You wear 6 month clothes.
• You're a pretty good traveler and went on a 6 hour car trip this past month.

• You sleep like a champ when you're having a growth spurt.  Sometimes you'll sleep all day and all night long over a 24-hour period.  You're a pretty good sleeper in general.  You sleep 10 hours at night and take 4 naps during the day.

• You attended your first church service in August at Nana's UMC.  Daddy rocked you and sang to you in the baby room at the back of the church.

• You make so many funny faces.  I feel like I laugh and smile at you all day long.

• You have an amazing gag reflex.  You won't take your reflux medicine or Tylenol.  Every time we try to give you medicine, you just gag and vomit.

• You still have those big blue eyes.

• Daddy and I can't get enough of your sweet little face.

We're looking forward to watching you change and grow even more in September, baby girl.  Daddy and I are so proud of you and couldn't be more in love with you.
