Fun in the Sun

Our week long vacation at the beach was awesome.  It was wonderful to get to spend 6 uninterrupted days with my fam.  We're already looking forward to our vacation next year!

Our first day of vacation was also my brother's birthday. Happy Birthday, Paul!  It was fun to be able to celebrate with him on his special day.

Granddaddy and Grandmother had fun snuggling their favorite grandbaby.

Annabella put her toes in the sand for the first time. 

Brian helped our girl put her feet in the cold ocean water.  Annabella didn't mind dipping her toes in the water, but she wasn't a big fan when the cold waves hit her bottom and stomach.  Maybe she'll like it better next year.

AB also enjoyed meeting a family friend, Mr. Al.  Mr. Al babysat me when I was Annabella's age. 

We also spent a little time swimming in the pool.

AB didn't mind the pool one bit (the water was warmer than the ocean).  Grandpa and Grandma bought Annabella the swimsuit that she wore, and Granddaddy and Grandmother bought her heart-shaped sunglasses.

This vacation was all about snuggling the baby.

I'm not sure why, but Brian and I expected this time off to be like vacations pre-Annabella.  Silly us!  We didn't get to sleep in or relax as much as we did before we had a baby, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

We miss you, beach.  We'll be back soon.
