Sweet Melody

I like to sing.  I wasn't in the school choir or anything, but when I'm happy, I like to belt out a good note or two.  As a teenager, my brother found my singing to be a bit annoying.  I would sing my math homework (I like math), or I would just belt out one, single note during dinner.  To this day, my parents know when I'm happy because I'll be singing my way around the house.

So, it's no surprise that our sweet Annabella likes to sing too.  When we rock Annabella to sleep, she starts to hum or sing to herself if Brian or I aren't meeting her needs.  For the past couple of months, Annabella has been busy kicking her legs, so I sing "kick, kick, kick your legs" to the tune of "Row, row, row your boat".  In the picture below, she's kicking and we're both singing.

"Kick, kick, kick your legs,
kick them to and fro.
It's so much fun to watch,
Annabella grow."
