Annabella-isms

Annabella is a busy girl lately, so I thought I should record some things she's doing that I don't want to forget.
I can't remember when she started doing each thing, but one day I'm sure I'll just be thankful I even recorded it at all.

She loves to say "hey", "hi", "bye", and wave.
Cars and people provide a  lot of waving and "hey"ing excitement these days.

She likes to help me fold clothes.  I'll set her on the bed next to the clean clothes pile, and she will hand me clothes.  She puts something in my hand, and I say "thank you".  After all of the clothes are folded, she's usually not ready for the game to be over, so she'll hand me imaginary things/air and smile.  It may be one the cutest things I've ever seen.

She is constantly jabbering and talking.  I always know where she is because I can always hear her.

She LOVES people.  Play group and trips to the grocery store are two of her favorite things.  She loves to wave at everyone in the grocery store and say "hey".  Grandmas and grandpas go CRAZY over her.

If she can get a hold of paper or a Kleenex, she tears it to shreds, and then picks up the shreds, one by one.  Other times, the paper/Kleenex is enticing and she decides to eat it.  She's loved paper for a long time now, and I thought this love might pass, but it's still holding strong.

Books are still a big favorite.  She says "boo" for book, "bay" for baby, and "bahl" for ball, and "ba" for bottle or milk.

We're trying to only give her a paci when she's in her crib.  So, our little routine after nap time (and in the morning) is I'll pick her up out of her crib, and she'll drop the paci back down into the crib.  Maybe a month ago, while I was rocking her to sleep before her nap, she pointed over at her crib.  I walked her to her crib side and she threw her paci back in.  Apparently nap time was done?  Sly, Bels, very sly.

She recently learned to eat using a spoon, and she thinks she is big stuff.

Like most babies I'm sure, she laughs when everyone else laughs.  I love that about her.  It's like we said a funny joke that she didn't get, but she laughs anyway.  Her sweet laughter is one of my all-time favorite sounds.

She growing and changing so much every day.  I can't wait to see what the next 6 months hold!

Aww, these are great! I've been trying to compile a list like this recently too! One of my favorites is that every night I nurse Annabel before bed in the rocking chair in her room. But before that, Nathan is in her room with us, helping to get her in her PJ's. Then she and I sit down in the chair and she waves bye-bye to him. It's so cute and sweet. Most nights she start nursing, then pop her head up to wave again, only to realize that Nathan has already left:)

Aren't these girls the best?! :) Annabella is sooo cute!
