A day with the rents

Brian and I live between my parents and Nana.  So, when they drive to visit her, they usually stop to visit us as well (since it's a 20 hour trek, they typically split the trip into two days and stay the night with us).  They were driving back home after Christmas and decided to spend a day with me (since Brian was at work).

It was a WONDERFUL day.  We went out to eat at some of our favorite restaurants, and saw the movie Tangled.  The movie theater was full of 3-8 year olds and their families.  And then there was my mom, my dad, and me.  I'm not all about the scary or sad movies.  If I want to see something depressing, I'll watch the news.  I prefer my movies to be extremely happy, and this movie didn't disappoint.

My dad also spent some time fixing things around our house.  I've said it before and I'll say it again: He's the best.  He changed our air filter, caulked the top of our windows, fixed our guest bathroom toliet, bought Brian some more drill bits, and so much more.  Thanks again, Pops. You rock.
