This past Sunday was Baby Dedication at our church. Brian and I made a commitment to put God first in our home and to trust Him as our source of direction as we parent Annabella. We pray that she will grow to know the Lord and choose to be baptized when she accepts Jesus Christ as her savior. It was a day of celebration!
We did a little celebrating at home with a strawberry cake (the same one we celebrated with at Annabella's birthday).
Family drove in to be present for Annabella's dedication:
Annabella sat on her daddy's lap and took it all in.
Brian and I both wrote Annabella a letter. It included our hopes and dreams for her. We couldn't be more thankful for our miracle girl.
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." - Deuteronomy 6:4-9
